Tijuana, Baja California | The 2nd Annual Rally Histórico Transpeninsular is set to take place June 23rd-26th, 2016. The Transpeninsular will cross over 1,000 miles across Baja, California on the infamous and beautiful Mexico Route 1 taking drivers from Tijuana to Cabo San Lucas. This year the race organizers have added late model classes, attracting a wider field of drivers, while the bulk of the entries will still be pre-1975 cars.
This year also marks the addition of the ‘Rally Tour’ a non-competitive gran tour that follows the same path as the actual race cars and links up with the racing teams each night. The Rally Tour is designed for those who want to enjoy the spirit of the Rally Historico, but don’t have a race prepped car.
The race will start in Tijuana with overnight stops in Cataviña, Loreto and Cabo San Lucas. Entry fees include hotel room, breakfast & dinner for each of the three days for the driver/co-driver.
Cost Rally Historico Transpeninsular:
Pre-Registration until May 9, 2016: $3,750.00
Registration from 10 to 29 May 2016: $ 4,250.00.
Late Registration from May 30 to June 15 Fee :$ 4,500.00
Cost Rally Tour Transpeninsular:
Pre-Registration until May 9, 2016: $1,250.00
Registration from 10 to 29 May 2016: $ 1,750.00
Late Registration del30 May to 15 June 2016: $ 2,000.00
