I get lots of press releases from companies wanting me to post about their latest products or services. But when the French company AFEN Confort sent me this innovative pre-fab carport I had to share it. Being a fan of design and having designed a few buildings over the years the clean modern styling of the carport captured my attention.

It is far more than just a standard parking structure, the tubular aluminum frame holds a motorized roof allowing you to control how much sunlight can reach the vehicle. While the fully closed roof protects the car from rain and channels the water into hidden channels in the structure that direct the flow away from carport. Hidden wiring and concealed LED lights automatically light the structure at night with standalone integrated solar power.
