ABC 7 reported this morning that two young men were killed and a third injured when the driver of a highly modified Mustang lost control and struck a group of spectators in Chatsworth. LAPD investigators said the men were there to watch a street-race at the time of the crash.

Plummer Street is well known as a street racing location in Southern California, like many industrial parks with long straightaways. Members of the automotive community said that the Mustang was racing a Nissan GTR and allegedly there is video of the incident floating around. Others say he was racing a Chevrolet Camaro, but so far nothing has been confirmed.

The driver of the Mustang fled and is still at large if you know anything please contact the LAPD at (818) 684-8000.
