Another classic British Gentleman’s racer, this 1955 Austin Healey 100S was campaigned by legendary actor and Gentleman Racer Jackie Cooper in the 1955 SCCA season. Cooper special ordered from Donald Healey in Spruce Green and raced it in the 12 hours of Sebring in 1955 as well as at Edenvale and Harewood. In 1956 Fred Allen would take the car to the Bahamas for the Nassau Trophy race. The car was sold to a European collector who raced it in vintage races like the Targa Floria and the Mille Miglia. Triple S racing of Pennsylvania purchased the car in 2003 and began an active vintage racing campaign in the US.

The car has been restored to its Sebring trim, with the exception of the windscreen which was added shortly after its racing career started. This amazing racer will be auctioned at RM Auctions Amelia Island auction this coming March.
