Deadly start to the Isle of Man TT

Former British Supersport champion Karl Harris, 34, was killed Tuesday after a crash on the second lap Superstock race that is part of the Isle of Man TT, according to a report by National Speed Sports News. 

Harris was a triple British Supersport champion and British Superbike podium finisher, who had been racing since the 1990s. A frontrunner in the British Supersport Championship in the early 2000s he road for Suzuki, Honda and Yamaha teams throughout his career. Harris is the second death at this years Isle of Man TT, just the day before Bob Price, a 65-year-old experienced road racer was killed during the first Supersport race. He also had been racing since the 1990s and his career included a third-place finish in the MGP Junior Classic and runner-up in the Senior Classic.
