eBay Watch: “Mercedes GTR”

I have no idea what this started life as but it’s really interesting, listed on eBay with a current non-reserve meeting bid of $2,125 (and a buy it now of $5,000) this is by far one of the oddest cars I have seen on eBay. It looks like a Le Mans race car crossed with a golf cart, a dune buggy, and a jet boat. Making this one of the strangest looking things on wheels. Featuring classic Mercedes touches like “Gullwing” doors and a Mercedes grill, and dune buggy cues like plastic bucket seats and massive hood scoops. The best thing in these pictures is the dog and the listing does not include the pooch.
