Vintage Sidecar Monkey Hannah Matthews was injured while racing at the AHRMA vintage motorcycle races at Barber Raceway on Sunday, Oct 13. Matthews suffered multiple pelvic and rib fractures, requiring surgery. She underwent successful surgery on Tuesday the 15th and is recuperating at home with her husband and racing partner Tommy.

Since the accident happened while racing, the Matthews insurance will not cover any of the medical bills, friends and fellow racers have set up a fund to help them pay the medical expenses. The site www.helpourhannah.com/ has already received nearly 200 donations. If you would like to help them please visit the site and donate, or you can always send a check directly to the Matthews at the address below.
