Exhibit at the First Symposium on Low Pollution Power Systems Development Held at the Marriott Motor Inn, Ann Arbor. Vehicles and Hardware were Assembled at the EPA Ann Arbor Laboratory, in conjuction with automotive companies both big and small. Part of the Exhibit Was Held in the Motel Parking Lot Photo Shows Participants Trying Out the General Motors Urban Gasoline Car in October 1973. The EPA and Nixon Administration were pushing the Project Independence initiative in response to the oil crisis.
