Charles Crites is your typical car guy, he has owned and built Ford and Mercury cars all his life. As he began to collect and restore the cars of his youth, he realized that many of the specialty parts were just not being made. Instead of parking his project Charles decided to produce parts for the cars he loves.

Crites Restoration Products was born about 25 years ago when Charles and his partner/wife France started the business in the basement of their home. The first item they produced was a reproduction of the Boss 429 Motor Mounts. The quality and attention to detail earned Crites a reputation among enthusiasts. The Crites added engine conversion kits, headers, motor mounts, and more.
Soon Charles noticed another gap in the market and just like before he filled it. Crites Restoration Products now offers the most extensive collection of Fiberglass body panels for mid and full-sized Ford/Mercury vehicles. Including parts that allow anyone to build a replica of the iconic Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt, AFX Comets, and Falcons, or lightweight Galaxie. Crites calls their replicas Lightning Bolts, each part is handcrafted in Ashville, Ohio, and parts can be made to order with modifications to the customer’s specifications.
Both Charles and France are true enthusiasts and take great pride in playing a part in keeping these classic cars on the road for the next generation to enjoy and appreciate. We are excited to have them supporting our current SEMA project
If you have a Ford Mustang, Fairlane, Galaxie, Falcon, or a Mercury be sure to visit CritesPerformanceParts.com or give them a call at 740-983-4777.
