With a top speed of 254.04 miles per hour (or 408.84 km/h), the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse has claimed the mantle of world’s fastest open-top production car. The record-setting speed was achieved at Volkswagen Group’s proving grounds in Ehra-Lessien, Germany, with Chinese racing driver Anthony Liu behind the wheel.
