The Bosozoku Cars of Japan

Bosozoku (暴走族, literally “violent running tribe”) is associated mostly with Japan’s own version of outlaw biker gangs, but this term and its outlandish style have also been applied by Japanese youths to their cars. A style that is purely Japanese and more akin to an “art car” movement. Many of the modifications are inspired by the Japanese race cars of the ’70s and ’80s but taken to the extreme.
