The story goes that the owner didn’t want to pay taxes on his 1925 Bugatti Brescia Type 22 when it was 11 years old so the car had to be destroyed. To do so, it was pushed into the lake, but a chain was attached to the car for future recovery. Over time, the chain rusted and broke and the Bugatti slipped into deeper waters. It was lost, until re-discovered in 1967, but was only raised from the depths in 2008. Cool story. Good basis for a future documentary.

Her signature approach, which she calls "Artemotiv," merges the meticulous craftsmanship of fine art with the raw energy of hot rods and muscle cars. But spend a few minutes with Cook, and the paradox resolves itself into something more profound: an artist who has not only found her lane but paved it herself.
