Owner of Chicane Sport Tuning Found Dead

Joseph Gosinski, owner of Chicane Sport Tuning a popular Southern California Mustang tuning shop was murdered early Christmas Eve at his Torrance shop. He was found shortly after authorities were called to 1908 Del Amo Blvd, at 1:15 a.m. in response to a call about an injured man. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office did has not released cause of death at this time, however, the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Gosinski was a well-known expert on the restoration of cars, especially the Ford Mustang. He was even featured on the TLC show, “Overhaulin’.” Members of the Beach City Mustang Club of which Gosinski was a member expressed their shock, disbelief and sadness over his death. Some were too overcome with grief to speak.

UPDATE: The Daily Breeze reports the coroner now says it was a gunshot wound to the chest that killed Gosinski. While KTLA 5 was reporting the incident, a pickup truck pulled up in front of Gosinski’s shop, Chicane Sport Tuning, and a passenger yelled, “Get another body bag!” There’s no word on whether the threat is connected with the slaying.
