Oklahoma-based Classic Recreations has just released images of their new Shelby GT500CR officially licensing with Shelby as a brand new version of the 1967 Shelby GT500. I spoke to the staff over at Classic Recreations and they told me that they are already starting production on customers’ orders for the new GT500CR. This new Shelby mixes both the old and new for the best of both worlds. Rack and pinion steering, a modern suspension, drilled and slotted Baer brakes and tight-fitting fiberglass body panels using modern manufacturing techniques. Stuffed between the fenders is a 427ci V8 putting out 545 horsepower in the standard model, however, those of you need a little more can ink-up for the 780 Venom package. With Dealers in the US, UK, and Dubai the company is getting orders from around the world for the new Shelby, prices start around $119,000+…
