SEMA: Honda Fit Based Formula F Engine

Honda unveiled its new Honda Fit based Formula F engine at SEMA as part of its new Honda Grassroots Motorsports campaign according to a spokesperson at the show the new package including the Fit based engine and installation kit will only set racers back about $11,500, a price comparable to current Formula F (Ford Kent) engines. The new Honda engine is rated at 114 Horsepower and will be available in early 2010, however, Honda is taking orders now. Honda also has launched its new racer program under Honda Performance Development (HPD), so if you are a Honda/Acura racing driver you’ll need to visit www.hondaracing.com/hpd for more information and to register with HPD
