Sometimes a really interesting car catches my eye when I am browsing the auction sites, and this one-off Troy Roadster caught my attention when I was browsing the upcoming Mecum Houston Auction Lots.

This one of a kind car was built by Wally Troy in 1959 and was featured in Hot Rod Magazine in 1960. The lightweight hand-built aluminum body is powered a 350ci Chevrolet V8 with twin 4-barrel carburetors, backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. With side pipes, Stewart Warner Gauges and knockoff wire wheels it really captures the 50’s/60’s roadster look.  For more on this car visit, its official listing page on Mecum’s website HERE.
