An email showed up in my inbox today, titled "Exciting News From Saleen" which could mean almost anything when it comes to Steve and the gang, would it be news on Saleen China? Could it be a new car? Would it be another exciting investment opportunity? The road for Saleen has been pretty rocky over the years, but the S1 was getting some attention and it was a real car, I even saw it testing out at Circuit of the Americas a few years back.
The email was a pitch for investment, back in 2022 I got an email asking for a $500 investment, this time Saleen is using Start Engine, a crowdfunding investment platform. This seems to be a fresh round of ground-up investing to keep the lights on and build cars, but there isn't much information in the email (below), the video, or the investment page on Start Engine.
