McLaren X APL Sneakers

McLaren Automotive has partnered with high-performance athletic footwear brand APL to release the APL McLaren HySpeed sneakers in three new colorways. This is the second collection of the APL McLaren HySpeed range of luxury sneakers inspired by McLaren’s supercars since the initial global release last August and continues the collaboration between the two companies who both sit at the intersection of quality, innovation, and performance.  

“Deepening our collaboration with McLaren Automotive with the launch of our three new colors in the HySpeed is very exciting because the new colors show how versatile and exciting the collaboration can be, specifically with a special colorway such as the Pristine/Magenta ombré fade. We were inspired by the ‘Wizards of Woking’, and as an homage, we at APL created and applied unique mixtures of texture and color to the HySpeed for the newest release.”

With close parallels in brand philosophy, the collaboration progressed in a natural direction guided by both McLaren and APL’s design pillars to create a truly special collection. This resulted in the development of a new range of footwear that further elevates the design, performance, technology, and construction in the luxury footwear category. 

The 2023 APL McLaren HySpeed is now available in three new colorways: 

• Magenta/Pristine — The vibrant magenta represents the dynamic performance and driving characteristics mixed seamlessly with yellow hues as an ode to the luxurious lifestyle of APL and McLaren 
• Pristine/Tan/Midnight — A lifestyle-inspired colorway taking inspiration from McLaren interiors and the French Riviera
• Black/White — A updated, fresh new take on APL’s historical best-selling colorway
