We spent months using Made Man Cleanser & Shave Gel as well as their All-in-one Moisturizer to see how it really performs over time. Maintaining a healthy, hydrated face without using greasy or heavy moisturizer is what we look for when testing skincare products, and Made Man passes the test with its lightweight and non-greasy formulas, that doesn't leave your skin feeling oily or greasy. These two products are sold as the "Re(Set) Collection" which is sold in both at-home or travel sizes.
One of our favorite things about Made Man is that both products are packed with natural ingredients that are good for your skin. It contains glycerin-infused coconut oil, which is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect your skin from environmental damage. Sunflower seed oil acts as a natural anti-inflammatory, while chicory root, helps increase collagen production promoting more youthful skin. We had two guys in the office use Made Man products over the course of several weeks and here is what they had to say.
Mike said: "I like the face scrub/shaving cream, it makes you feel fresh and clean and works well well for shaving. The moisturizer feels great going on and has a slight tingling sensation, overall I think that having a routine has helped my skin look better. But that might be down the routine more than the product itself."
Chase said: "The moisturizer feels good going on, I like the packaging and that the product is made with eco-friendly, sustainable ingredients, so you can feel good about using it every day. But the price point seems a little high for 1.7 oz."
Using Made Man Moisturizer is easy. Simply apply a small amount to your face and neck after washing your face in the morning and at night. Depending on how much product you use a 1.7 oz bottle should last 6-8 weeks. The complete package will set you back $120, so it is definitely on the high end, $60 for the 3.4 oz Cleanser & Shave Gel, and $60 for the 1.7 oz All-in-one Moisturizer, which is more than brands like Clinique For Men, Kiehl's, and Jack Black. But if you are looking for a simple, low-ingredient count product that is made in the USA, Man Made might be the right fit for you.
