The Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing, better known as CVAR, is the premier vintage racing club in Texas and Oklahoma, hosting seven races in the 2021 season. Unlike many clubs, CVAR is focused on period-correct cars that are authentically prepared, you won't find modern powertrains or rows of kit cars at a CVAR event. Instead, the paddock is full of vintage sports and race cars doing what they were built to do, go fast at the track. This event at Eagles Canyon Raceway had seven groups ranging from open-wheel to sports cars, in total over 175 entrees.
This weekend was also a licensing weekend, where perspective drivers could take part in the racing school and if successful apply for a national CVAR license.
