From 1951 to 1963 John Tojeiro built some of the most significant cars in automotive history, from the MG Barchetta that would become the foundation for the Shelby Cobra to bespoke competition cars for Ecurie Ecosse, John's cars took on the most challenging races in the world. Drivers, including Jackie Stewart, Jim Clark, Stirling Moss, and Graham Hill, all competed behind the wheel of Tojeiro's groundbreaking cars. Perhaps the most important car he ever built was the EE Coupe, arguably the first rear-engine GT prototype to race at Le Mans.
