Personalization has become quite the trend these days, be it for your wardrobe, your belongings, or even your car. It’s becoming quite cool to ‘customize’ everything according to your liking and personal taste. And if you’ve got the extra cash - why not? If you’re going to spend a good amount of money on something you love, why not go the extra mile and make it exactly to your taste?
For some, cars and bikes are just a means to get from place A to place B; but for others, they are much more than just a vehicle. Men, especially, can spend hours on their cars and bikes, keeping them well-oiled, well-maintained, spanking clean, and raring to go. So if you’re one of those who want to give your car (or bike) a make-over of sorts, why not personalize it? Here are five ways you can do so:1. A Personalised Number Plate
This is the coolest way to customize your car or bike. Private plates instantly make people take notice (even as they try to decipher the name or word on the number plate). You can customize it according to your child’s name and date of birth, or perhaps a lucky number or a word that means something special to you. You can be as creative as you like as there are loads of options to choose from.
2. Customised Alloy Wheels
Wheels can often make or break the overall look of a car, so if you want to spruce up your car or bike, or make it look a tad different from the rest, consider changing the alloy wheels. Choose a whacky color or a different shape, and people will turn heads!
3. A Fresh Coat of Paint or Wrap
Don’t want a car that is a ‘normal’ color? Want to make it ‘your’ car (literally) by giving it a splash of paint in your favorite shade? Or try a vinyl wrap. A bright yellow or a psychedelic pink or even something with a design on it… a great way to personalize your car.
4. Decorate With Decals
Decals are the ultimate in personalization and a cool (and very direct) way to express yourself through your car or bike. You can place a cool decal on the bonnet, side, or back of the car - either after that snazzy new coat of paint or even just on the original.
5. Change The Interior
If you don’t want to do much to the exterior, but want a touch of your own taste inside the car, then consider customizing the interiors instead. Changing the seat covers will give a completely different look - and feel - to your car. You could also get matching floor mats.
Other ideas include adding additional lighting such as LED lights, roof lights, or underlighting or adding cool covers to your seatbelts and steering wheel. Not only will these up the cool quotient of your car instantly but will also keep your hands warmer during the chilly winter months.
