Q by Aston Martin has pulled the wraps off a limited edition DBX celebrating their partnership with legendary single malt whisky distillery, Bowmore. Aston will release just 18 of the special edition Bowmore DBX which will be delivered to their lucky owners at a private lifestyle event in Scotland.
The Bowmore DBX comes in an exclusive color, Bowmore Blue, or in Xenon Grey. The accent on the front fender vents features Bowmore branding and inlay made from the original copper whisky still. The exterior also gets both script and wing Aston Martin badges and Q by Aston Martin fender badges.
Inside customers can choose Obsidian Monotone or Copper Tan Metallic/Obsidian Duotone interior details in Bowmore's signature tweed created by Islay Woollen Mill another unique connection to the island of Islay. The copper theme continues on the inside with polished copper cupholders, and sill plaques, made of recycled copper from the original Bowmore still. The center console trim inlay features bespoke hand-laid copper foil. Each Bowmore DBX includes a Bowmore tweed picnic blanket and leather holdall.
Buyers of the 18 Bowmore DBX will be invited to an exclusive Aston Martin Art of Living experience in Scotland. Guests will travel to Edinburgh where they will be handed the keys to their DBX, before setting off on a 170-mile road trip through the Scottish countryside. The route includes Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and ends at the ferry bound for the island of Islay.
Owners will tour the Islay Woollen Mill, enjoy fine-dining throughout their three-night stay, and take a private tour of the Bowmore Distillery. During the tour, they will have the opportunity to hand-fill their own bottle of a 39-year-old Bowmore straight from the cask. They will also be given access to the No 1 Vaults, the oldest whisky maturation warehouse in the world.
The Q by Aston Martin DBX Bowmore Edition is on sale globally now and customer deliveries will take place in Q4 2021.
