There have been a number of leaks and much speculation about what the production version of the
Ford Bronco will look like and today, Ford dropped the biggest hint we have seen yet. The Baja 1000 ready Bronco R. Ford decided to unveil the Bronco R alongside the classic Bronco that Rod Hall and Larry Minor famously drove to an overall win 50 years ago at the 1969 Baja 1000. Inspired by her Grandfather Shelby Hall, Rod’s granddaughter, wild pilot the Bronco R for a segment of the grueling 1,000-mile race across Mexico.
Built with Ford Racing in conjunction with Geiser Bros Design and Development and Baja 1000 Trophy Truck champion Cameron Steele. The new Bronco R hopes to repeat what the original Bronco did 50 years ago, take victory at the Baja 1,000. Check out more photos of the new Bronco R below.
