The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is always an amazing celebration of motorsports, this year at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca the focus was 50 years of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) with IMSA as the featured marque at this year’s event. With four special IMSA races as part of the event, legends like Parker Johnstone, Tommy Kendall, John Morton, Hurley Haywood, and John Nikas were all on hand.
Cars ran in 14 different groups from a vintage 1911 Fiat S74 all the way up to 2014 Lola Toyota Rebellion LMP1 prototypes. The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is the largest event of Monterey Classic Car Week which is held each August at the historic Laguna Seca race track just outside of Monterey, California.
