McCall’s Motorworks Revival

McCall’s Motorworks Revival, kicked off Monterey Car Week, hosting its 28th annual event at Monterey Jet Center in Monterey. The event blends classic cars, exotics, rare and luxury aircraft, luxury watches, food, and just about everything else we love. The VIP event has become the must-attend event at car week, with several exclusive reveals and a chance to interact with many of the biggest personalities in the collector car world while supporting the California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation.

Some of the rare rides on display included a 1978 BMW 320 Turbo one-of-two lightweight race cars campaigned by Jim Busby Racing in IMSA GTX competition.  A replica of the 1935 Bugatti Aerolithe built on an original Bugatti Type 57 chassis, one of Christopher Runge's latest creations, and the new Ford GT Mk II track-only supercar. The cars were parked among legendary planes like the B-25 bomber, P-51 Mustang, and latest in private luxury aircraft from Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, and  Cessna. Watchmakers Bremont, Eberhard & Co., and Chronoswiss showcased luxury watches.

“The 28th Annual McCall’s Motorworks Revival was one of the most memorable we’ve ever hosted,” said Gordon McCall, founder of the McCall’s Motorworks Revival. “The California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation had a hugely successful night and variety of automobiles and aircraft, along with these unique displays have made 2019 one of our most successful events to date.
