The first movie post for 20th Century Fox's Ford v. Ferrari film has been released ahead of the much-anticipated trailer for the movie which will debut on Sunday night during Game 2 of the NBA Finals. The story of the legendary Carrol Shelby (Matt Damon) and British racing driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) who took on Ferrari to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Ford.
A film version of the famous story has been rumored in the works for years, with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt attached to star in a previous version, but last year we spotted film crews at Ontario International Airport in Southern California filming what could only be Ford v. Ferrari, since then we and much of the automotive world has been excited to see what James Mangold does with one of the most amazing stories in racing history.
