The
Citizen Tsuno Chronograph Racer, a reimagining of the brand’s 1972 Challenge Timer series combines classic style with modern technology. Citizen celebrates its centennial by bringing history forward with a reintroduction from its iconic Chronograph Challenge Timer collection. In late 1972, Citizen conceptualized an automatic Chronograph Challenge Timer featured in stainless steel with a “bullhead” structure.

The Original Tsuno Chrono |
This model later resulted in the launch of the Tsuno Chrono (Japanese “horned chronograph”) in early 1973. This timepiece held core competencies, that would later inspire the Promaster collection with a focus on the three areas of air, land, and sea. The new Tsuno Chronograph Racer includes a hand-assembled movement featuring the brand’s signature Eco-Drive technology. Showcasing a bullhead structure with the crown and chronograph pushers located at the top of a 45MM case, the watch has a 1/5th of a second flyback chronograph, tachymeter, alarm, and date window, complete with a domed sapphire crystal and luminous hands and markers.
The Tsuno Chronograph Racer comes in three styles,
Stainless,
Black & Red, and
Brown.
Prices range from $795-$895 set to be released fall 2018.
