Automobili Lamborghini America debuted its newest dealership in Austin, Texas, with a grand opening celebration at the new Lamborghini Austin showroom. Lamborghini Austin officially opened its doors to the public with the all-new Urus SUV model on display.
The exclusive inaugural event included attendance by Automobili Lamborghini’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Stefano Domenicali and Automobili Lamborghini America’s Chief Operating Officer, Alessandro Farmeschi, who were joined by Lamborghini Austin’s dealer principals, local customers, and VIPs for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new appointment of Lamborghini Austin brings the Automobili Lamborghini America dealer network to thirty-three retail points in the U.S. as the brand pinpoints targeted areas for expansion in anticipation of the Urus’s arrival. Automobili Lamborghini recently announced record sales performance for 2017, increasing worldwide sales by 10%. The United States remains the largest single market with 1,095 units sold last year.
The company is increasing its sales volume with the launch of the new Urus Super SUV, due to arrive in the U.S. late summer. The Urus features a V8 twin-turbo engine that delivers 650 HP and a maximum speed of 190 MPH. The introduction of world’s fastest SUV reflects the rapid growth of the Italian automaker’s lineup and brings about a substantial increase in the company’s production capacity.
The new Austin storefront and service center is located at 4108 North Lamar Boulevard. Well-positioned North of Austin’s bustling downtown area as Lamborghini accelerates its model expansion.
