Only one series offers the excitement of F1 and Indy and the close racing of NASCAR all rolled into one, and that series is IMSA. With the GT class pitting real production cars prepped for racing aginst each other to the futuristic prototypes hitting speeds of 200 mph there is nothing like watching an IMSA race.
The speed, sound, and thrill of watching drivers battle side by side, on a road course is like nothing else. No other series captures the raw excitement of road racing quite like IMSA. Manufacturers like Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, Mazda, Mercedes, Nissan, Porsche, and others battle for racing supremacy on the premier racing circuits of North America.
If you ever had the opportunity to attend a race, it is something you will never forget, but most of us don't have the time to follow a series from track to track. Thankfully IMSA is broadcast on FS1 and you can always stream on FOX Sports GO, so you never have to miss a race.
If you watch just one IMSA race a year it has to be the Circuit of The Americas May 4-6th. This is not only one of the most beautiful road courses in the US, it is also one of the fastest tracks on the IMSA calendar. While there is racing all weekend the main event broadcast live Saturday, May 6th from 7-10pm ET.
If I can't be at the track, FS1's coverage is the next best thing, so get a few friends together, grab some snacks, and settle in for one of the most exciting races of the year.
