Christina Nielsen will be taking the wheel of a Ferrari for 24 Hours of Le Mans debut with Formula Racing. The 23-year-old Dane earned her seat after an impressive season in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. Nielsen is set to make history becoming the first Danish woman to take part in the historic 24 hour race.

Dec. 7, 2015 - Christina Nielsen gets busy in 2016. A short time ago she published a contract with Scuderia Corsa, where she will drive their Ferrari in the American IMSA series. Now she can add the classic Le Mans and European Le Mans Series, as she has just signed a contract with the Danish ELMS masters Formula Racing a full season in the team's Ferrari 458 GT2. The 23-year-old racer into a strong threesome that will win both the European Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Nielsen is also the first Danish woman in the French classic.

The rapid woman has three times previously participated in the 24-hour race and impressed especially by connecting on a 2nd place in the famous 12-hour race at Sebring in the spring. A result which was immediately proclaimed to be the best motoring achievement for a Danish woman ever.
