A UK company has taken to converting old sea forts into luxury hotels where you can live like a Bond Villain for $672 to $1,000 per night. This property called No Man's Land offers 27 luxury suites, billiards, dining, and large spaces for events. A fun fact, this sea fort was featured in a Doctor Who episode 1972.
Originally built in the 19th century to ward off the French navy the forts were armed with 12.5-inch muzzle-loading guns and were in service until the end of WWII. The forts never had to fight off a sea invasion and in the 1960s they were offered for sale. The company Amazing Venues now operates two of the original for sea forts as hotels including this one and is offering island forts for sale. For booking information CLICK HERE
