When most people think of Daihatsu they often don't think of cool sporty roadsters, but back in the mid-1960s, you could get a Daihatsu Compagno Spider, a car I wouldn't mind having in my garage.
Built from 1965–1969 the Compagno Spider 1000, packed a 958cc, making a whopping 64hp. The car was never sold in the US market, but it did make it to the UK, Europe, and Austalia.
