The result of a partnership between Tudor and Ducati, this chronograph packs a Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement with a 46-hour power reserve into a 42-millimeter satin-finish steel case, with chronograph subdials and engraved tachymeter scale for timing split-second lap times. Instead of the usual steel bracelet or rubber or leather strap, the Tudor Fastrider offers a NATO strap, made from nylon webbing, that allows it to be securely fitted on the wrist or over a pair of riding gloves.
Rather than rely on a slathering of logos, the Fastrider Ducati says it all with its color scheme: a red face with off-center black racing stripes, the reverse applied to the strap. But like a Ducati motorbike, it doesn't come cheap, with prices set around four grand.
