Way back in 2013 I shared the story of Ivan Sentch, a New Zealand man who was using a 3D printer to build his dream car a Aston Martin DB4 using a sub $500 3D printer and a lot of time. I decided to check into see how the project was doing four years later and as of August 2017, Ivan has almost completed the body. In his build thread (HERE) he shares that there have been delays in the progress do to moving and the amount of time it takes to properly 3D model the entire car. Either way it is a cool project and as 3D printing technology gets better I am sure we will see more and more classics being saved and recreated using it.
